Who We Are

We are a church set in a quiet rural setting of Tullylish beside the River Bann.

The church family is made up of around 250 families: some local, some from further afield. People have come to Tullylish for various reasons, but we hope they stay because of our welcoming ministry where they may find faith – or revival in their faith. We are encouraged that spiritual growth is evidence and we see more families participating in worship.

We describe ourselves as ‘A church family of all ages for all ages’.

We are a place where all are accepted and able to build new friendships, a place where, together, we can share, explore and experience what it means to follow Jesus. We like to think we have something special that people talk about. We are a congregation, who are committed and not just churchgoers, that is growing both in faith and can increase in numbers: ‘an army of ordinary people with a passion for God’.

What we do

We seek to have a vibrant mix of traditional and modern Sunday services involving all ages who contribute by reading lessons, leading in prayers and providing children’s talks.

We seek for new ways to reach out to people with the gospel of Jesus.

We believe that we are a welcoming church to newcomers and visitors as we seek to present the Christian message in a way that engages and empowers those around us.

Our missionary team enable the parish to support those far beyond our parish, including SAMS, Crosslinks, The Leprosy Mission, Croatia Outreach Mission and Church Missionary Society.

Our Vision

To build a church family where loving God passionately (Mark 12:30) and loving each other deeply…

  • Is the core of all that we are
  •  Is the life blood of all that we do
  • And the springboard for our love of the world

…as we continue to make an imprint and make an impression as we follow Jesus

Our Future

We want to release and equip Christians into actively serving God (ministry) so that every Christian is serving in at least one area and is involved in the church as a participator and not as a spectator.

We will try to improve the quality of what we do and how we do it, we will evaluate and work together at doing things better all the time.
